Wish I could report a really nice swarm today but it was not to be.
Have a trap that was being worked by a large number of scouts today. ( have 5 being worked by scouts today)
I really thought I was going to hit #17 today with this one. I mean there were scouts working it so heavy I would have sworn that it was a catch so I went back out this evening and sat watching the show and thinking
That the northern beeks are going to get envious again today.
Sat there till dark and was convinced it was a catch until the last 5 minutes of watching.
All of the traffic in and out stopped and then the bees that were in the trap began leaving a few at a time.
I knew what it meant but stayed and continued to watch and sure enough all the traffic in the last few minutes
Of daylight was outbound! :thunder:
Guess I picked on the northern fellas too much and Mother Nature showed me!
Hope to give a better report tomorrow!
Bailey.

Checked a few of mine today and 4 or 5 also had a good bit of scouts. Thought i would have caught one but i guess this misty weather today slowed down the swarms.

The one I was watching had so many scouts I was just so sure there was a swarm!
Hundreds of scouts. It was cool to watch.

Serves you right Bailey! Lol ;). We are calling for 2-4 more inches of snow tonight...figured that would make your day! Seems like spring will Never make it here this year. I have enjoyed living vicariously through your exploits to get me by! Keep on grabbing em!

It's nice to hear that somebody out there is doing well. Right now I am just trying to see a day in the 40s. I would love to see the ground again! I will admit that I am a little jealous. I hope one day I catch a swarm.

Sorry but no sympathy here Bailey.
Yesterday it was in low 50 bees flying!
As I look out the window right now it is SNOWING to beat the band. :(

Don't worry about not showing sympathy! Just go look at post #17 on the rack. It's a good one
