About a month ago, I made a batch of bee candy to help my hive get to spring. Well, the first attempt didn't really turn out. I can only guess that I didn't get it hot enough to trigger proper hardening. As a result, I was left with a sort of sugar 'gel'. My question is, now that I am getting ready to feed liquid syrup - can I simply use the gel (I saved it) to make a batch of 1:1? Thanks.

I would not see why not. As long as the bees can get out and fly every few days, any impurities or bad sugars will be discharged.
