Title: I.M.N. system of rearing queens

have any of you used this method to rear queens it seems pretty straight forward and no grafting

Sort of.  I've done a little Miller (cutting the edge to remove the lower wall of some) and tearing walls down on appropriate age larvae, but I haven't done a lot of it.  The Hopkins method is easy enough as is the Miller.
