Gotta get me one of them hats!

Scott
"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag...We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

Vermmy35 Nikon coolpix L20     It was a rush job had to grab stuff and run. It filled up two 8 frame medium box's with 8 frames in each box. The guy said he gets at least 5 swarm's a year and he would give me a call. It was at an organic cranberry bog. The swarm's come from a guy that pollinates the bog's. he just re queened all of the hive's he had there. I got a brand new queen with this swarm :-D I seen that cone and had to do some thing with it I know it ain't no umbrella OK parasol but hey it did the job :-D

So Irwin, since we are neighbors...not quite right across the street, but still SO-OR neighbors, how late will you still get swarms?  I have a swarm trap that I didn't put out because I thought swarm season was over?  Obviously, I'm not accurate with that idea.

So, in the Pacific NW, when does swarm season start and end?

Roseburg.  So, is it worth still attempting to set swarm traps?  Obviously, you just caught one, so they must still be in the mood.

Why not worth a try if you do get a swarm you will have to feed it to make sure it has plenty to make it through winter.
