What is the latest bees can be removed from a building and expected to survive in the state of Kansas? I plan on feeding their own honey back.

We removed one in NC on Aug. 22 and it made it fine. We fed all winter.

We did a removal in August of last year. They didn't have much for stores in the comb when we removed them. We fed all fall and winter, and split this hive in early May, they were bursting at the seams. Both hives are doing great.
Good luck!
