Title: Bees confused with snow.
Post by: jimmy on December 11, 2008, 08:05:25 pm
My bees have never seen snow before and as a matter of fact, I haven't seen this much in my lifetime here, 6 inches. Suppose to be back up in the 50's tommorow so it won't last long.
JP, if you read this did you get any snow in your area?

Yes we have about 3 feet on the ground 20 degrees.  Upstate New York on Lake Ontairo, We get about 300 inches a season.  Send up some of your warm weather. I doubt my bee's will fly again until March. Have a great Christmas.  Tony
