.
My medium supers are for 9 frames. I use 8 frames. When combs are full, i can exctract from medium box 30 lbs  honey.  Often frames are not full and fat and I extract about 25 lbs.

So, a fat medium frame has about 3-4 lbs honey. They are not all equally fat.

That is quite close what Michael says.

I calculate my yield  from the number of boxes :

medium 15 kg
Langstroth 20 kg.  Langstroth frames have often pollen stores and thick cell walls because they has been as brood combs.

I got about 2 1/2 gallons.    That's pretty close to what Iddee got too!

lets have a look:

gallon is 4 litres
specific gravity of honey = 1,4

4 x   1,4 x   2,5 =   14 kg

It is about the same what  I have from 9 frame box

And the correct answer is:

ALL OF THE ABOVE.
"Listen to the mustn'ts, child. Listen to the don'ts. Listen to the shouldn'ts, the impossibles, the won'ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me . . . Anything can happen, child. Anything can be"

Of course, some years expect 0kg.

I usually tell people a medium yields about 3 gallons of honey give or take. Just about what Iddee said.
