Gday from NSW, Australia
« on: September 10, 2014, 11:22:13 pm »
I got into bees last spring after arriving home from a family holiday to discover a swarm had chosen an old oil drum in my yard to make a new home in. I did what I'd heard over the years; I called around expecting a happy bee keeper to come and rescue them, only to discover that is a world of fantasy and nobody wanted them, not even the local agricultural high school. Lucky for these girls, I spent a semester at high school studying beekeeping complete with real bees. That was more than 20 years ago, so it was into the deep end of the beekeeping pool for me! I've spent the last 12 months reading, watching YouTube and researching and shopping to prepare for the day where I'd try to coax the bees into a new home. That day came last week and I'll start a new thread about that elsewhere, but for now I'll just say Gday.

Democracy is 2 wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well armed lamb contesting the vote.
