I have a nephew who works with SS who can make me the internals of an extractor out of "scrap" ;) Because he is interstate I will have to source/make the rest. I just need some measurements to get started - can someone tell me the diameter of the internal basket and the outside drum for a 8/9 deep frame radial extractor?
Thanks

Thanks - nearly done - grossly over engineered. Much bigger than I was expecting mainly due to the fact I wanted to run the honey straight into a 20 L drum through a double strainer so made it high enough for it to fit under. Will post some pic when done Also working on a not so portable crane to lift full supers off the hive

Sounds cool - looking forward to the photos.
About the crane, you've no doubt thought of this, but what about making one that can mount on a ute or tractor?
