Welcome! Enjoy your new addiction! :-D

Scott
"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag...We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

Thanks all. I'm looking forward to it. On a side note; my crabapple was covered in honey bees yesterday and I don't know where they came from. I had read feral bees were all but extinct in TN and I don't know anybody around here with bees.

Not much to think about. Throw a couple of them together, place 5 frames in there, bait with lemongrass oil, hang in a tree and there ya go. Kinda like fishing for bees

Great to see another newbie on this forum.. I hope we can learn lots together.
I sometimes try my hand at blogging at: Benefits of Honey. Although its a honey blog not a beekeeping blog (i'm a total newbie when it comes to beekeeping)

Yup, welcome to the wonderful world of beekeeping.

The key is to find out what works for you and stick with it.
