Check out this bumble bee visiting my BlueBird Rose of Sharon bush! Just covered from head to toe with pollen.
Oddly, I’ve never seen a honey bee on a Rose of Sharon bush. The bumble bees and Japanese beetles love them though….

There may be a reason bees don't hit your rose of sharon much. That poor little bee gets back to the hive and dances out a little warning, Stay away from that blue flower plant, or it will attack you will cover you will all this pollen. Or maybe the bee had been drinking and just fell in?
