Greetings from the Finger Lakes in NY
« on: October 19, 2011, 07:59:41 pm »
I am excited to find this forum.  We have a great, active beekeeping club here in the Finger Lakes and I have learned so much through sharing information, questions & ideas.  And then I found your site-  unlimited information & ideas!

My most recent beekeeping quest has been to build a functional observation hive.  I found so many good plans, found so many good ideas, including those incorporated in the beehaus, and decided I could figure out a design for an observation hive that anybody could build.

Welcome!

I am pretty new myself.  Would love to see and hear more about your observation hive.  I hope to have one some day too.   :)

Hello, thanks!  My signature includes a link to my observation hive plans.  I doubt if I'll have bees to put in it before spring, but I will be sure to share pictures & progress once it's up & going.

Welcome. Is Joel still in the finger lakes club?
