JP, Emil And Leo Remove Two Hives From The Audubon Zoo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhkMOfDND4c#ws)

That was just too much :-D :-D Loved the elephant at the end.
Wow, oh Wow!! What a difficult job that looked so hard with all that robbing. So what was the outcome on that?? Did you find Emil's queen?
-
Emil didn't find his queen. He said the hive made lots of emergency cells and made a new queen. He said the colony is healthy and vigorous.

If you had a few more hours of sunlight, I bet you could have filled a box by sucking up robbers. Yes there is hive very close by. May be in the zoo somewhere. Loved that elephant. Does the zoo have an observation hive or show hives on site?

When we left the bees robbing we walked around a bit and wound up at the elephant exhibit. I noticed a few bees checking us out by the elephants. Sure enough, I'm told they believe they have a hive near the elephant exhibit, possibly in one of the elephant buildings. I'm hoping to go by this week to check things out.
Allen, it was an insane amount of bees filling the air. We couldn't take it any longer and had to leave them until near dark.
The elephant in the front was very friendly and put on quite a show for us.
