Tree house bees

This one was in Ormond Beach FL...just north of Daytona.

We found the queen clustered on the outer wall.

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag...We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

This one was a little painful to watch. Was wondering when you would put some cover on, hate to see you getting blasted like that. Thing is, you know these will probably be really good bees once they're in their new set up.

Do we get to guess what expletives Peg dished out when that comb section fell?  :-D

Oh, did she earn the right to go back up into the "boy's" tree house?  :-D

I love watching your videos, but I have to agree with JP on this one.  I have learned a great deal from watching you and Peg and I would be foolish to give you advice, but... seems to me, (like all of us) some days they are just grouchy.

Have fun!

That was definitely a "girls" tree house and one I would love to live in. Have always wanted to live in a tree house since I was a little girl.

Thanks Scott and Peggy for this difficult removal. You are both very brave.

Did you ever find the queen??

Wow! Love watching your videos.... but gotta agree, if that was me, the second hit on the arm would have me diving in the suit! You guys amaze me with your cutouts!
