Thanks, she is fearless and would love to go at my bee's but I think maybe she's abit young and the fact that she has never been stung before has alot too do with that. I'll hold off for awhile would'nt want to scare her off which is what I think might happen if she was to get stung now. But who knows.

My youngest is 6 and she is out with me whenever she gets the chance. Don't let her loose interest by keeping her away. Mine has alot of fun out there and can't wait to tell her mom and her teacher what we did and what she saw when we were out with the bees.

I start keeping Bees it 9 year old it is 51 years a go where do the time go :shock: !!

51 years beekeeping WOW that is so kool, good on ya :-D :-D May try her at them next year and see, I just don't know how she would react to a sting. won't know till she is stung ;)

Greywulf, she may surprise you specially if she concentrates on the workings of the sting & concern for the poor bee who's bum just fell off & is going to die. Maybe work on teaching her these things, it will still scare & hurt but kids are much more accepting if they know how & why things work. Sometimes curiosity overrides other things. Cindi, I think John only wears shirts on Christmas!! :roll: :evil: J
