Interesting parallels to humans. Bees foraging earlier and putting kids in pre-school by the time they're three. Enticing bees to bring in pollen when not needed and cubicle workers writing reports no one will read. Moving hives to keep the bees constantly working and companies pressuring employees to work weekends and thru vacations. Feeding bees HFCS and pollen substitute while we get a Snickers and Mt. Dew from the vending machines and call it lunch.

We humans break down, suffer high blood pressure, have strokes and heart attacks and wonder why our bee colonies are dying....

Well, he publishes what people, including the scientists, write.  It does seem like a very recent editorial direction, but there is nothing wrong with seeing the error of your ways is there?   It takes some guts to talk about beekeeping naturally in today's beekeeping world.
