I have 2 hives in seperate yards (about 25 miles apart) that I want to combine. One is queenless and has 2 med. supers and the other has 1 med. super with a great queen. Any suggestions on how to get the 2 hives together with out loosing alot of foragers from either hive?

seal up the queenless hive at dark after the foragers come back home and take it home to the hive that has a queen.
the do a newspaper combine with the queenless bees on top.
should be fairly simple.
have you done a combine before?
if so then follow the same steps, if not then do a forum search on newspaper combines and read up before doing the combine.
make sure the " queenless hive" is in fact queenless first!
wouldnt want to mix 2 queens and risk the good one.
