Howdy From The Hoosier State
« on: September 20, 2012, 11:40:58 am »
Name's David Welch.  I live here in Indianapolis and am about to extract my first "crop" of honey, without help from my father.  Not a big talker but have been told I'm pretty good at listening, unless I'm being stubborn, in which case you should just let me fall to my own demise.  How's that for a post within two weeks.   :-D

Hi David!

Welcome to the forum! I'm sure you'll find it to be an informative site to learn more about bees and beekeeping.

Are you planning on going to the State Beekeeper's conference Oct 27th? It's in Danville, just west of Indy. Phil Craft and Jerry Hayes will be our speakers. It would be great to meet you in person.

I would but my wife is due with our fourth child Oct. 31st, it's a c-section so it will come a little early me thinks.  I don't think it would be a good idea to make that plan just yet...
