Is this a joke or not...?
« on: February 23, 2011, 04:50:32 am »
A fellow goes into the cake shop, and says, "I'd like to buy a wasp please."
The clerk says, "We don't sell wasps."
The fellow says, "There's one in your window!”

Only if this is considered good poetry:

There once was a man who kept bees
Who always got stung on his knees
So he pulled on his pants
And did a short dance
And yelled "Now try to sting these!"

Man walks in a restaurant and orders Lobster.  When the waiter brings him the lobster, it has one claw.

"Waiter!  This lobster only has one claw!"
"Yes sir.  It got into a fight with another lobster and lost that claw."
"Well then, bring me the winner!"

The reason it's an old joke, is because it's a good joke.  Although when they don't have bakeries and windows with cakes in them, the joke might not make any sense any more.
"Thinking is like sin, them that doesn't is scairt of it, and them that does gets to liking it so much they can't quit!"  -Josh Billings.

Poetry you say? Well then, let me try my hand at that too. OK, here goes:

He Boosted them with Bee Boost, Super Boost and Mega Boost too
He used Terramycin, Fumigillian and some Tylan, til they all turned blue
He drizzled them with acid and drowned them in every kind of oils,
He used so many chemicals, he even started getting big ugly boils
He hit them with Apistan and Apivar, and Apilife, till all bugs were gone
He spilled more poison on them bees than anything ever spilled by Exon
He ended up with a pile of dead bees and a stench to make a maggot cry
He was the Grim Bee Reaper, a commercial Bee Keeper, looking for packages to buy.

will spring ever arive
and the bees thrive
eyes will be on the dirty varroa mite
its a constant fight
no end in sight
fingers crossed for ample pollen, the food
the stuff the bees need to make lots o brood
so that if you get a good nectar flow
a good honey crop may show
and soon give beeks a bright glow
as the smiles on their face grow
then all beeks will be happy dont ya know
just watch what seeds you sow
seems GM' or neonics grow
in every single row
from here to mexico
Forget the EPA
They dont care what you say
Its all about who has the most money to pay
not what makes the healthiest hay
or what is best for our bees at the end of the day
you on you own
it seems set in stone
we beeks are all alone

need I say more?  LOL!  Just a little fun!

There's a bee in mama's bra
I hear it buzzing around
And no one can swat it
While her booby trap's got it
She's dancing a wild jig
And she just lost her wig
Hear her scream and shout?
I hope it's not a scout!
