I had a car fire happen once many years ago. My vehicle emergency kit now carries a full size fire extenquisher.

No it was "mobbsys" car whoever he is, and I gather it was a hire car.

Great pics, Im told it took 10 minutes from start to finish.

I think there is a real difference between a proper 2 ton 4wd and these modern plastic 4wds as above.

if you want a real jeep, this is the thing you're looking for!

oh yeah baby, 1.1l engine 50HP!!!!! 4WD, 5 gear gearbox and it even has seatbelts!!!! best buy ever, plus, when in town and there isn't a parking space open, just push away that dumpster and park your set of hot wheels!!!!
auto-airconditioning system, you'll never get hot in the winter and you'll never get hot in the winter. if you're not alone in it, you even might have a "radio"

the fact is, this little bugger climbs almost anythings, shame we had to sell it!!

Road (track) is under water. It's not deep, around 5 inches only. We have a lot of rain

Quote
mean annual rainfall averages around 4,000 mm

and it comes down by the buckets, so places get flooded.

Right now, a woman is growing vegetables beneath my office window. In five months time, you can go fishing there.

I like using 4WD cars becuse of their high ground clearance. I hardly ever engage 4 WD.

If that fire was caused by a build up of grass, why not just move it before the inferno began?

The type of grass is between 1ft and 4 ft long, it wrapps around the tail shaft and is not able to be removed unless you go lookng for it. You would have to stop the vehicle every 10 minutes and get under it to check.

Most good vehicles have devices to prevent this, or are proper 4 wheel drives and have decent clearance.
