Title: New member in Western NC
Post by: Elbill on March 25, 2013, 07:46:55 pm
First post from a just enrolled member. Have been keeping bees for 30 years and seems like I have been killing them for the last 5 years. Moved my hives from CT to western NC and am trying to get back on track. This forum seems to have all the latest info and a good peaceable discussion about things. While the temperatures are not greatly different the humidity and honey flows are greatly different. Also most people here keep bees in one deep and a shallow or 3/4 super for wintering. Thanks in advance for your help.

If you have kept bees for thirty years, I bet you do more teaching than learning.  Welcome sir.
