Yugo

Koral 55 to be more exact :-D

-why were sidewalks built in the first place?
So Yugo owners could walk home safely

-How do you make a Yugo go fast?
you throw it out of an airplane

-how do you double the price of a Yugo?
you fill it up with gas

-How do you call a Yugo on top of a hill?
a miracle!

-Why does a yugo have back window heating?
So your hands are warm when you push it

-Why do all Yugo drivers go to heaven?
They've already been to hell

-how do you call a yugo with extended double exhaust?
a wheelbarrow

-what's the difference between a yugo and a shoping cart?
it's much easyer to push a shoping cart...

-what's on the last pages of the Yugo manual?
bus schedule

this one is a bity local, but i hope you'll find it funny

Yogos were imported into the States for a couple of years.  I quickly developed a reputation for unrealiability.  We found it to be everything you described and then some:
How do you keep your Yogo running?--I don't drive it.
How do you keep a Yugo for more than 6 months?--Park it in the garage for 5 1/2.
What car disintergrates into a ball of dust?--Any Yugo over 6 months old.
It's easier to install springs on road bumps than repair a Yugo.

Me I drive which ever car is still in the yard (and working) when I need to go someplace.  I often go dowtown in my motorized wheelchair.

No it's a Sob driven by Snobs.  You justify the price that's enough to make you cry by convincing yourself that only special people drive one.

My first car was a saab, got 320,000 miles out of it back when 100,000 was alot to get out of a car. The cost comes from the fact that they used to be put together with aircraft parts. Saab still makes airplanes, but I am pretty sure they sold their car line out to somebody else, probably Ford.

My Nissan Frontier has been a good truck, but it is time to get greener......just traded it in on a Honda civic hybrid yesterday. My wife says I can't use it to haul bees around so I will have to start using the old jeep and the trailer for that.

Yes, Saabs used to be "made by Trolls in Trollhatten" but alas, they were bought out by GM, and the new models are to be built in Mexico.  Sigh.  The odometer on my 1990 Saab 900 quit working about 4 years ago -- at 157,000 miles.   :-D
