Hi my name is Benson. I live in Northeast Alabama. I have been a beekeeper since 1999, In Pensacola, Fl. I moved to Alabama in 2010 and I have just completed my first TBH.

I am looking forward to beekeeping in this hive. I like to try new things and build my own hives. The standard beekeeping is alright. But I like the TBH because no heavy lifting.

My hive is 48 inches long and 20 inches wide at the top. My topbars are 19 inches long. The box tapers down to 7 inches at the bottom.

Welcome to the forum, Bensun.  Do you have frames or just the bars.  I first made bars but then modified to make frames out of them.  Good luck to you and your bees.
