Hello and Welcome!

This forum is a good place to start.  I use the 'search' function a alot: many times I find that my question has already been discussed, so I don't have to wait for anyone to answer. And.. don't overlook the tutorials on the main Beemaster page.

Between now and spring, READ, READ, READ.  Check you library for beekeeping books. Buy a few (there have been a number of threads which recommend "best" beekeeping books). Here's another website to spend time reading:

And, as suprstakr said, get involved with a local club. Clubs often offer beginning beekeeping classes and they are great places to find mentors and get connected with nearby beeks.
