Electric fences and wax comb building

Electric fences and wax comb building.

At the moment I only have one bee yard with electric fences (beecause of hungry bears). Next year I will bee expanding to 5 more.

I don't know if it is my imagination but I seem to see a bit more bur comb building in the wrong places when I give them new comb to build.

I had some extra wire left when I built the fences so i buried it in the ground around the fence right under were a bear will have his paws in the wet grass  :-D  :-D as extra grounding so the bee yard is well earthed.

Has anybody else noticed more bur comb in bee yards exposed to electric fields?

:pinkelephant: or should I stick to making more tin foil hats for my bees  :pinkelephant:
