Title: Condensation above hive top feeder

While checking the hive, I noticed condensation on the under side of the telescoping cover, above the hive top feeder.
I have the brown plastic feeder from Dadant.
I did refill it, and won't reopen the hive for another week, but wonder what I can or need to do about the condensation, or if it's not a big deal.

I noticed the same thing myself.  The condensation appeared to be confined to the areas over the liquid, and not above the area where the bees go up into the feeder, so I'm hoping it won't drip down on them.

Same here. It's confined to area over liquid. I worry most about it rotting out the top material.

Don't worry about it. The heat generated by the bees warms the syrup, and the humidity condenses on the cooler top cover. Pretty soon it'll be warm enough outside to prevent the condensation, and you won't have to worry about it.
