:D I have been keeping bees since 14, for 24 years. ("Where has the time gone?") I belong to the Hertfordshire Beekeepers Association and being a suburbian beekeeper surrounded by the countryside presently have 11 hives. I am finally in a good position to start a small breeding program next season 2007 and will look for further members to participate in this exercise. As most feral colonies and 'let alone beekeepers' have all vanished thanks to varroa, now is the time to try a breeding program to all whom are interested. The bees are housed mainly in British National hives and they have been donated 3 WBC hives which have now been reconditioned ready for use. Any further equipment is always called for. I am currently looking for an observation hive.
