My wife just proposed an interesting question........... Why do bees attack people who are running a weed eater or lawnmower more than a person just walking by? Is it because of all the CO2 the things are emitting? I hear that bees see and attack CO2 to defend from the bears. Just a question I had to counter act the "KILLER BEES". Any responces would be great.

IMO it would be the string on the head of the trimmer moving so fast and the vibrating of it.
Just my thinking though.

Well first off the human produces more co2 then a weed eater or lawn mower those are gas powered and they only produce co carbon monoxide very deadly gas. Co2 cardon monoxide a very needfull gas to help plants grow and bloom to produce nectar. no its not the emmisions that cause them to get up set its the vibrations. i do belive

I have always thought it was the vibrations.

Bees don't hear airborne sounds like we do, they pick up on vibrations.
