Hello from the UK
« on: September 22, 2009, 02:08:31 am »
Hi. New to this forum but on a couple of others based in the UK (Omlet, BBKA, and the fantastic beekeepingforum (quick plug there!!))

Recently returned to beekeeping after a couple of years off dur to work commitments. I have 2 hives and, for those in the know, an Omlet BEEHAUS - the newest hive in the world !!!

Yes - there will be a steep learning curve but I'm up for it.

Any questions, just get in touch !

regards

hi, we have other members from the UK, and all over for that matter.  welcome.

when you get a chance, put your location in your profile.  it will help in later conversations.

enjoy the site and glad to have you.
Someone really ought to tell them that the world of Ayn Rand?s novel was not meant to be aspirational.

LOL. Many thanks for the welcomes. Much appreciated.

Not sure how many people here know much about the Omlet BeeHaus. Check out their website if you want to view one. It has just been launched in the UK.

Apparently it requires management techniques along the lines of a Dartington Hive, again another UK hive.

Still, as I learn and the bees do their thing, I'll be able to add to the conversation.

cheers

Stephen, welcome to our forum, it is wonderful that so many others from different parts of our world are joining us.  We love new members, stick around, a great place to learn, tell your stories and tales, share experiences and make some wonderful and new friends.  Have that most awesome day, with great health.
