Title: Residual bees in newly place swarm trap issue

QUESTION: Are a few bees from a past captured swam living in a new swarm trap going to keep out a new swarm?

SET UP:  An old trap captured (can i say it that way?) a swarm.  The trap was remove completely and replaced with a different trap within a day.  A few bees from the first trapped swarm remained near the trap site.  These bees, maybe 20 of them, now reside in the New trap box put out for the next swarm.  So i wonder if swarm scouts will avoid this trap because of the handful of bees in it.

if wat read its right no the handful left should return to is parnet hive or die if anything the smell they leave should acctraced  another swarm sorry for the spelling

How long have they been away from their siblings?  You could place the new trap on top of the new hive, and see if the stragglers are allowed to migrate back in...it usually happens pretty quickly, and you can re-hang the trap. 

They will die soon without the support of the colony, so you could also just shake them out close to their new home.  Remember, they are simply returning to where they knew their home to be.
