Ok, so I did not buy American  , but for 2 hives (with possibly a few more next year) this seemed like the best option for me:

https://www.dadant.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=35_72&products_id=355

The best part is the English translation on the back of the little booklet that came with it.  It tells me that it is "made of poisonless plastics", which sounds good to me.  :) Here is a direct quote:  "Some main components and easily worn parts of the device can he simply replaced."  Typing "he" in place of "be" is no big deal, but it goes on to say: "This gets rld of the former state of the things that when some spare part of the extractor is broken the whole device has to be abandoned."  Perfectly understandable, but you have to feel bad for all the abandoned extractors out there.  Makes me want to leave a little honey out for them.

Anyway, it works great so far.

Who is the manufacturer? I have an extractor that was my grandfather's (can not find parts) and was looking for a new one. I have seen this one advertised but have not had much luck getting information about it.

I use the same extractor I like I had to make some modifications to use the mediums but it is a very nice extractor. Please remember to keep it clean and dry when not in use.

Sincerely,
Brendhan

I'm afraid I can't tell you much more that what is in Dadant's link.  "2FMS-1" is printed on the pamphlet, and "2FMS-II" is on a sticker on the extractor, but I am guessing that is the model number.  Aside from the (very limited) directions and some arabic numerals here and there, there is nothing else on it I can read since it is all in Chineese characters.
