Hey,
This really has nothing to do with bee keeping but knowing how some of us really like fishing, thought I'd post it anyway.

That is one BIG fish. :)
Enjoy.
David.
PS. Hope this doesn't break the rules. If it does sorry.

That's awesome! I mainly catfish but have always wanted to try and catch a big striper.

Wish I had a pic that my cousin took of a lemon fish that I had caught a few years back.
It was nice. Texted my cousin to see if he still has the file. Hope he does. If so I will add it in.

Holy CRAP!!!
Bailey that is nice.
What is it?
Is it good eating?

It's a medium sized gag grouper. Nice but no sea monster.
My cousin found a better grouper pic.
And we're going to get this thread moved due to off topic. ( sorry moderator)
This pic is of a large Warsaw grouper.
I'm still waiting on him to find the cobra pic.

Someday I'm gona catch me a big fish. I hope. :)

Stripers are running up the coosa river in Rome. You can catch them off the mayo lock and dam. Big fish can be found in lots of places.
-
Thanks for the info Allen.
Been to the lock and dam pretty nice place. Would be better if I had a boat though. :)

Allen, Do you live near Rome, GA? I have done some work down there over the past 2-3 months at Floyd Regional and Redmond.
James

I can get there in 50 minutes. My dad has a place on Lake weiss on the river just west of Rome.

For a bass, that is an amazing fish.
A few of my son's many large catfish:

That is one big fish store. Wow.
Jim

Ya'll are killin me with your big fish pics.
-
>Just wondering what was he doing noodling?
No noodling. He just got tired of how scraped up and dirty they get when he pulls them up on shore and he doesn't want to risk them getting an infection from it, so he climbed down into the water for some of the pictures instead.

I want to play!
Oversized sturgeon (I am holding the pole and taking the picture), generally go about7-9’ using 100 lb test line and stiff poles.

The salmon was caught by my brother in law Jim who lives in North Pole Alaska. Lucky him. :)
