I just heard a story about a friend of mine that had some bees awhile back.    They were an aggressive group so it is claimed. He had a bug light close to the hive and one day a bee flew into it and got zapped. I guess she released the attack pharamon because a large amount of bees went to attack the bug light.

Dead bees everywhere. Bug light won.

Did your friend keep the bug light lit all day?  Bees usuallly don't fly at night.
