Better keep a close eye on your bees!

What will they think of next to milk people of their hard earned money.
Only God can make these two things.....Blood and Honey!

Here in Pennsylvania, they are now requiring in some townships, a second registration and permit fee to keep bees. So we pay the state for registration and inspections, then turn around and pay townships the same. I figure the county just cut out of the loop and as soon as they get wise to the fact, they will want their cut also.

Now the question is.....who will assess fines around here for not watering bees?

And to my disgust, there seems plenty of beekeepers here that figure all this is fine and dandy. I wrote about this here: http://www.bjornapiaries.com/beekramblings2011.html

You should of seen the negative feedback and hate mail I got after posting this. Heaven forbid if you rock the boat and kick a few in the hindside to wake them up to what is happening. I guess some are so used to being screwed they are numb by now. That or they enjoy it.

"Beekeeping...it's not the sting that hurts, it's the SCREWING!"

And to think they recently allowed beekeeping in New York for the right reasons. Nope....it was approved as a reason for another income source. That is the world we live in.
