New beekeeper from Finland
« on: May 24, 2011, 07:34:29 am »
Hello,

I have started with two colonies last year, they both coped with the long winter. Now I'm looking for novel methods to fight against varroa.

Someone really ought to tell them that the world of Ayn Rand?s novel was not meant to be aspirational.

I don't fight them, but I also don't have issues with them anymore.

Hi, I'm new to the forum too and am just lurking to learn as much as I can about my favorite creatures on earth, lol! Wow, all the way from Finland! Hi and welcome. I have lots of online friends overseas. One is in England who I Skype with and many more that I correspond on a daily basis. It's fantastic how same interests cross all boundaries. I also have another friend who lives in the Italian Alps who is an outstanding photographer. She and I grow roses, but she sent such gorgeous photos of honeybees and recommended some of plants to have for them as well....
