laying worker colony requeened
« on: July 03, 2008, 10:41:15 pm »
I have gotten a laying worker colony to accept a ripe queen cell by giving them frames of brood in all stages 2 weeks before giving them a queen cell.   Was I just lucky, or has any one else used a similar method with any good results?

That's a good method.  The open brood suppresses the laying workers.
