I like to eat mine on toasted English muffins with my coffee for breakfast. Maybe add a little butter. I also love to mix honey and peanut butter and spread in on toast. Outstanding with milk or coffee. Then again, it is difficult to beat it with my wife's homemade hot biscuits!
Could this be an answer to why I am so thick?
This post makes me want a snack.

Lets see, by the spoon full, on toast with butter, but my favorite is crunchy peanut butter and honey mixed.

In my tea every morning. I've also got a great recipe for:
Spicy Honey-Brushed Chicken Thighs
Skinless, boneless thighs cook quickly and are more flavorful than white meat, so they need fewer ingredients. Serve with garlic-roasted potato wedges and tossed salad.
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp ground red pepper
8 skinless, boneless chicken thighs
Cooking spray
6 Tbs honey
2 tsp cider vinegar
1 Preheat broiler.
2 Combine first 6 ingredients in a large bowl. Add chicken to bowl; toss to coat. Place chicken on a broiler pan coated with cooking spray. Broil chicken 5 minutes on each side.
3 Combine honey and vinegar in a small bowl, stirring well. Remove chicken from oven; brush 1/4 cup honey mixture on chicken. Broil 1 minute. Remove chicken from oven and turn over. Brush chicken with remaining honey mixture. Broil 1 additional minute or until chicken is done.
Servings: 4
Yield: 4 servings, serving size: 2 chicken thighs

I like it in my tea, I like it on biscuits. My favorite way to put it on a biscuit is to take a box of cut comb honey, slice a thin, thin slice of it and spread it on a hot homemade biscuit - now that's the best.

This year I only made 16 boxes of this - next year I'm going for more - this is heavenly and a great way to fully appreciate every part of the bee's production - the wax is as good as the honey!

I like honey with a pungent cheese, usually a goat, sheep, cow's milk mix. My favorite way is just on toast with butter, you just can't beat that.

Bread, oatmeal, cornflakes. Here is the good one.
Take about 2 or 3 table spoons full, 1/4th cup of concentrated lemon juice and the rest water.
Put the water and juice in a cup and nuke to coffee hot+, then add and dissolve honey. Take 2 cups of this and call me tomorrow.
Helps with fighting off winter flu bug.Believe it. ;) :)

Haven't found when I don't like it with what ever or by itself. This years honey has more of a full flavor where last years 'drought' honey had a lighter fruity flavor. They both have been great on all I've put it on.
rienbeau I'm gonna use that recipe this Sunday. Thanks! It sounds great!

But on toast and with peanut butter and bananas is also great!

My wife commented the other day as we were buying sugar for the bees, that we don't eat sugar. We don't. Even before I had bees we didn't. I use honey on most everything with some occasional maple syrup mixed in.

My two favorites are on vanilla ice cream and on grapefruit halves warmed in the oven :-P

I might use some for cooking but I dont eat honey much, might try some on my fingure about 2-3 times a year but thats it, I dont eat much sweet stuff hardly ever.....
-
My favorite is chicken dipped in honey. I also like honey carrots. A spoonful of honey every now and again is good too. :-D
-
Along with all of the above, or at least most of the above (peanut butter?, really?), I like honey on top of vanilla yogurt. Also on top of a bowl of Wheat Chex.
Although the squeeze bottle directly on the toungue method is by far the most common. 8-)

Hot biscuits with butter.
The other weekend we had some freinds from canada visit and decided to roast some lamb. Well little known to us, our friend is a honey junkie. We pulled out the early season blackberry honey,,,,,,,,,,so light and delicate. Well,,,, honey was flying all over the plates and then it hit the lamb. OMG! Talk about a complex flavor, soooooooooo good :-D . I never thought of using honey straight as a dipping sauce, move over mint jelly.
I wonder how mint honey would taste with lamb? :-P

I sure am glad I asked this question. I can't wait to try the honey chicken recipe with some vanilla ice cream or grapefruit for desert.

My dear little wife uses honey in all her canning of fruits . The peaches and cherries are quite simply exquisite . I also like it in tea with a pinch of ginger powder and a small piece of lemon rind . That beverage really gets my circulation going in the morning , which is important where we live , because in the winter the temptation to hibernate is really something fierce. ---Burl---

A tablespoonful or two every morning with a coffee chaser :-D

Yes, honey makes a great ice cream topping, or addition to any barbecue sauce, or dipping anything in...
-
On toast for breakfast nearly every morning--in homemade granola--recently on pancakes(as good or better than our own maple syrup). Some people say they do not like honey. Can you imagine??
-
I like mine in oatmeal, but I do eat it straight from the spoon on occasion.

Anyone have a good recipe for Honey wheat bread?

Honey drizzled over cottage cheese and blueberries. Holy cow. I dip strawberries in honey. Honey with cheese. On toast with peanut butter. Whipping it into real butter. In hot tea and coffee. In smoothies or added in my juicer. In iced tea with mint. Spoonfuls -- or even handfuls when I'm a messy robber. I love honey honey honey!!!

I love my honey too, I just hope she loves me back, but after 35 years there are times...
