hi all,

my name is jay i am from kentucky, been keeping bees for 3 years now my first hive a 3 lb box died the first year dont know exactly what happend to them but they were never really seemed to get into the flow of things.

i now have 3 hives (feral) that i captured last year and this spring all 3 of them seem to be doing well probably thanks to the mild winter we had here in ky also due to the 50 lbs of sugar that i fed them this winter.

they are working hard accept for this cold snap and making lots of honey replenishing the brood box right now they have went from not weighing much to being quite heavy in the past month.

like this forum much lots of good information on it
