Title: First Varroa
Post by: Moonshae on October 25, 2007, 09:51:08 pm
Alas, my friends, I found my first mite on one of my bees. I've had a feeding bucket out, and I "rescued" 4 girls that were left out in the cold, too unwilling to go back to the hive in time. One of them clearly had a mite upon her, although it went away as I kept photographing her. Maybe the mite jumped to one of the other bees, which would be great, since they never made it back to a hive.

It's one mite.  It's irrelevant.
