Title: new photos/ a photo test
Post by: bayareaartist on October 02, 2005, 01:05:03 am
Here are some photos I took today, I didn't have my tripod - next time.
First is of the queen on the comb taken two times
the second photo down is of the comb that is being drawn on a foundationless frame I made.

The Third photo below is what my hive looks like. It is not in this area at this time. But this is the first hive. It is a 12" deep brood box with frames I made myself.
These photos seem to load large so if you want to skip this page I have included the links also, just stop the page from loading and then click on a link.
thanks

Michael,
I made the frame myself, the comb guide is a 45 degree cut from both sides. Since I did a split it has been no probelm feedingthe combs in. They have been drawing it like gangbusters.

I am about to build all of my super frames. I am going to make them at 1.5 inches wide,
thanks for all the help.
