Title: Colony Removal
Post by: dpence on June 21, 2007, 03:02:04 am
Hello everyone,
My wife and I received a call to remove a colony of bees from an old two-story house.  Wow, we checked it out and the comb is in the floor joists on the second floor.  After removing the siding and some of the the boxing, we decided to build a bee vacuum to help us extract them.  The owner said the bees had been there for years.  Looks to be a challenge.  It is designed to hold the package cages, since I had a few around, my wife suggested we use them.  Hope to post some pictures soon...too new to the forum.  LOL wish us luck!  :-D

They are almost always between the floor joists on a 2story house. Have fun.
