Egg Real Closeup
« on: September 25, 2007, 07:25:33 pm »
Thought some of you might enjoy this.  Needed a picture for our bee association's display at the Illinois State Fair.  Sorry, I can't tell you exactly how many days old this is.  I just had the idea to take a closeup of an egg and looked in the TBH for an egg close to the edge of the comb that I could cut off without much damage.  Maybe one day I could take the time to take day 1-3.   Out of the four assoc's displays it got the blue ribbon.
Picture was taken the old fashioned way.  I used an old Pentax Program Plus 35mm with six inch bellows, a one inch extension tube, and a 100mm Super Macro Takumar lens.

Someone really ought to tell them that the world of Ayn Rand?s novel was not meant to be aspirational.

OH MAN!  Too cool!
Everyone said it couldn't be done. But he with a chuckle replied, "I won't be one to say it is so, until I give it a try."  So he buckled right in with a trace of a grin.  If he had a worry he hid it and he started to sing as he tackled that thing that couldn't be done, and he did it.  (unknown)

Arvin, you went to a lot of effort to get that shot of the egg, very, very impressive, and with an old 35 mm, yeah!!!!!  Best of this beautiful day, Cindi
