Yeah its all of the papers today. I didnt know if made that big of a difference, 1 in 2 hobby hives gone :(

Does it appear in Vic or only in the tropical north?

According to the Victorian DPI website it has been found in Victoria but is not prevalent! Small Hive Beetle a Beekeeping Pest (http://new.dpi.vic.gov.au/notes/agg/bees--and--wasps/ag1080-small-hive-beetle--a-beekeeping-pest)

Plenty on the North Coast and SE QLD and they're still spreading.
