Title: Another new beekeeper in the Pacific Northwest

Hello from the foothills of Mount Rainier WA. I've just received a feral swarm from a friend in a Warré hive and I'm reading everything bee-related I can find. I'm sure I'll find lots of good information here, so thanks for having me.

Irene, welcome to our forum, so nice that you have found us.  A feral swarm, yay!!!  That is wonderful and now you have entered this beautiful and secret world of the honeybee, you are no doubt now under their spell.  You will find that the more that you learn, the more that you will be compelled to learn.  Read lots, lean on us for any questions that you may want to ask, we are a group of people that love to listen and help.  Stick around, this will be a place where you can spend wonderful time, a place to tell your stories, tales and experiences, and you will also make new friends, we love new members.  Have a most wonderful day, to love and live your life, and share, health.  Cindi

Welcome to the group.  Nice to have another member with free bees in something other than the standard hive.  Be sure to tell us how things are going after you have had them for a couple of weeks/months.  I hope that you will get involved here and enjoy your on-line experience.

welcome to the group I am just a bit farther west of you in the olympics south end of the rain forest.
this a great place to learn from. again welcome.
