he got a new extractor!  the one that he used in the FB extraction that was sent to me, was manual and smaller.
Someone really ought to tell them that the world of Ayn Rand?s novel was not meant to be aspirational.

It looks to be a good hive, friendly and resourceful bees, but every time I look at that thing, I cringe at the thought of working it from within the clouds.  :-D

Must use scaffolding, all I can say.

I seriously cringe everytime I see that set up.  It's such a safety problem.

Nice. I didnt like how high they have the hive set up. I wonder why they did it like that? Their honey was really light in color, probably from the clover which he talked about.

There was another thread or two (  :-D ) that spoke of the hive set up and why it was built like it is. They apparently did follow some kind of protocol, can't remember all of the particulars. Could be something simple as keeping it high so the dog wouldn't be bothered, as much.  ;)

Maybe someone who knows for certain can chime in?

That is what I thought, up off of the ground to keep the dog out of it. I guess it is better for an older beek to be standing on some old saw horses than for the dog to learn a quick bee lesson.
