hi im gonna start growing lemon grass in alabama do i germinate inside or in dirt out side and they shoulds be find to put outside right since it doesnt get that cold right
-
I always germinate inside, but I happen to keep one area about 80 with only florescent lights, which seem to help. but I am in michigan also, though unlike the rest of michigan , I am in a zone 6 growing area for plants. my lemon grass is now outside though and doing pretty darn good, so are my figs, avacado and pineapple which most people do not grow here.
