What a way to start a season!! I received a call to remove a swarm which apparently settled in the tree only 2 weeks ago. The guy mentioned on the phone that there is some white stuff showing - probably wax. Well have a look at the photo. After working on it for 2 days I filled 10 frames with brood and let them settle at the property under the tree. let's hope I managed to get the queen in as i did not see her. Hopefully they will be ready to be taken away in a weeks time unless SHB get stuck into them.

That's a whopper! They must be on a good flow to build that much comb in 2 weeks!
