Sorry, but I am in Springfield, MO. I grew up near Little Rock  AFB, however, and have great memories. I hope you enjoy your posting there and find some bees nearby.

Have you tried contacting a local beekeeping club?

Good luck, and thanks for your service to our country!

If you give Fischer's Honey a call, they are in Little Rock.  They may be able to refer you to a local keeper.  They are great folks.

   Hey Billy!

The Central Arkansas Beekeepers Club meets on the second Monday evening at Gander Mountian, all the way back behind the archery section, at 6:30 p.m.

Having said that we are having our next meeting in July.  P.M. me if you want more info!

Are you in the dorm, base housing or off-base?

There's plenty of beekeepers in the area.
Everyone said it couldn't be done. But he with a chuckle replied, "I won't be one to say it is so, until I give it a try."  So he buckled right in with a trace of a grin.  If he had a worry he hid it and he started to sing as he tackled that thing that couldn't be done, and he did it.  (unknown)
