So this year here in SE Colorado it seems the bees are attracted to the other beekeepers property smack dab in the middle of the city. he has had 5 swarms now land in his yard, but staying away from his 28 hives. Is there something that attracts the bees to the yard? We know they are not his becsue they have watched the swarms come in from the north west and all his hives are going strong.

Perhaps in the past, his hives swarmed into same trees, and they just know. I have found swarms usually pick the same tree, fence etc numerous times and years in a row.
