Title: OK yet ANOTHER stupid question...

I observed SQUADRONS of Dragonflies in my backyard tonight. How harmful are they to my bees?

I would not worry about it.  Just how many are you seeing?   It would take hundreds of dragonflies to take down your numbers in your hives.   They do eat bees, but they eat a lot of other bugs also.  Adult dragonflies eat other flying insects, particularly midges and mosquitoes. They also will eat butterflies, moths and smaller dragonflies.  Think about how many mosquitoes and wax moths are disappearing in your yard.
